Hello my dear readers! In this weekend we recieved a lot of fashion things for you. One of them is a coverage of an amazing store from Amsterdam! YES! Amsterdam. A friend of mine and collaborator of the blog was invited to see the SS'13 collection from New Look!
I really like New Look, so when she got the invite I was super excited.She got to see the collection and enjoy the fashionable ambiance there. The spring/summer 2013 collection is divided in three themes: Pagan Cowgirl, Pleasantville and Eastern Trail.
Pagan Cowgirl is, as you might already have understood, all about the cowgirl look. Fringes, denim, neutral tones and some floral prints for the ultimate authentic cowgirl look. Though I did like this look, it's not entirely me. There were some amazing necklaces and other items though.
Pleasantville, with all it's glamour and femininity, is inspired on the 50's. Pastel colors, tight waist skirts, bold collars, sweet prints and cropped pants are the keywords for this collection. This collection has some amazing items in it. I loved the textures in some of the clothes, and the accessories are pretty damn gorgeous as well..
The last theme is Eastern Trail, inspired by the diversity and vibrancy of exotic, far a way countries. Probably my favorite. Bright and shiny sequins were used, and so were tribal prints, paisley prints, neon colors knocked back with some khaki... With my sequin-addiction I'm super glad to tell you that sequins are still hot!
