Lais Ribeiro, for one, is one of the most undeniably gorgeous models we've laid eyes on in years. And for a model who recently gave birth to her first child, she's making quite an impression on the industry. The 19-year-old's lean, athletic build is a much-welcome change to her (still) emaciated Eastern European counterparts. And her silky-smooth Brazilian skin made her instantly recognizable in the sea of pale-and-paler models that (still) dominate the catwalk. After debuting at rag & bone's fall 2010 show, Lais booked Roberto Cavalli, Gucci, Bottega Veneta,Dolce & Gabbana, and Versace in Milan alone. That is no small feat! Especially for a newcomer in her first season.
